  • What steps do I take to get started?

We will provide you with an information package and a presentation for you to better understand what we at WESK do, as well as how we can further assist your personal business development.

She assists clients with mergers and acquisitions, commercial lending, financing, and leasing of commercial real estate. She also practices in the estates and trusts area, assisting clients with their estate planning and administrative needs including drafting of wills, setup and administration of trusts, and the estate administration and probate process.

    Jordyn Allan is an associate at Miller Thomson LLP and maintains a general corporate commercial practice, with a focus on providing legal advice to charities and not-for-profits. She has experience in a wide variety of areas including corporate governance, commercial reorganizations, tax compliance, commercial transactions, commercial lending.  Jordyn articled with Miller Thomson in 2016, and was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2017.

WESK is currently seeking presenters to offer workshops and webinars in various topics that will develop the competencies, knowledge and technical skills of women entrepreneurs who are starting and growing their businesses.

If you are interested in delivering a workshop and/or webinar with WESK, we invite you to submit a proposal.

Please note, due to the high volume of presentation proposals we receive, presentations are selected based upon the topic, relevance and demand.

Presentation Format and Time Frame



One hour in length, volunteered time, and delivered during the lunch hour (12:00 – 1:00 pm). 


1-2 hours, ½ day, or full day in length. Sessions are delivered in the mornings, afternoons or evenings at the WESK offices (Saskatoon and/or Regina).

*1-2 hour workshops are provided on a volunteered basis only

- Professional biography;

Extraordinary women deserve to be celebrated! WESK is giving female business leaders in our province the recognition they deserve by presenting four outstanding female entrepreneurs with one of WESK's 2018 Entrepreneur Awards, presented by Conexus Credit Union.

The first annual WESK Celebration of Achievement award will pay tribute to an exceptional woman entrepreneur who has built a business in Saskatchewan with a significant impact on the economy and the community. This entrepreneur is an inspirational leader and a role model for women in business.

In addition, WESK will expand our awards program to recognize more of the amazing female entrepreneurs in our province. The three additional categories are: WESK Emerging Entrepreneur Award, WESK Innovator Award, and WESK Growth & Expansion Award.

This is the only event of its kind in Saskatchewan that brings together female entrepreneurs with representatives from government, industry, media, and educational institutions to celebrate the outstanding contributions of inspiring female entrepreneurs.

Awarded to a female entrepreneur who has built a solid foundation for her business and is now experiencing rapid growth and significant expansion opportunity for her business by strengthening her leadership capacity and developing new market opportunities.

Cancellation Policy

A refund of 50% will be issued after the completion of the Conference if written notice is received prior to May 9, 2018. No refunds will be allowed after May 9, 2018, however, substitute delegates will be accepted. Non-attendance does not constitute cancellation.
