Training

Information is power. The more you learn, the better your opportunity for success.

We know from experience that business skills training is incredibly important for small business owners. Most of us dive in with a passion and a dream, but not all of us have the management and accounting skills we will need.

Some basic business skills are fundamental to becoming successful. Others are constantly changing.

Critical basic skills include forward planning, financial management, marketing and operations management. Today’s business world also requires a sharp awareness of communications and social media.

We offer excellent seminars and webinars, workshops and other training events to help you ramp up your skills and knowledge.

Frequently Asked Questions

Cancellation Policy: A full refund or credit may be issued if written notice is received a minimum of seven (7) days prior to the scheduled seminar date. Within seven (7) days of the scheduled seminar no refunds or credits will be given. (Non-attendance does not constitute cancellations).

  • Personal Brand: Keeping it Personal

Personal Branding plays a big role in the world of the entrepreneur.  And while there are many tips and tricks out there on WHAT you should be doing to show your brand to the world, there is a lack of focus on developing the most important part of that brand: the YOU part.

    Take-aways and topics covered:

  • What if Buyers and Sellers trusted each other?

What if we had a marketplace where Buyers and Sellers trusted each other?  What would that look like?

The BBB reviews organization/business details to help buyers make informed decisions.  Can buyers do this themselves?  You betcha...takes some time, though, and you may need to dig a little.  i.e. corporate registry, municipal licensing, professional licensing, website privacy rules & a bunch of ethical standards, too.

Why not go to the BBB?  They do it all for you!  Look for the seal.  Found it?  well that little logo means the BBB has already verified some 13 legal and ethical requirements (and they review it every year).

    • Customer reviews?  got that, too, (positive, neutral and negative) and the star ratings are used with Google Analytics to improve the search.
    • Complaints? we have an on-line mediation process and arbitrators, too, to help you resolve issues quicker.  Better yet, we'll help you to  prevent them.
    • Scams?  yep, we have a ScamTracker heat map that records victim statements for the consumer to search and assists law enforcement.
    • Ethics? yep, we got that, too.  Workshops and an on-line course.

Come hear why you should be an accredited business.
