Mentoring/Networking Minimize

Mentoring can be a great way for an experienced business owner to share their knowledge. Mentors are people with business experience who want to give back to their community and are willing to commit a few hours of time monthly to be there as a guide and sounding board to a new business owner.

W.E. provides an opportunity for members who are existing business owners to meet on a regular basis. A Circle consists of approximately 15 women and typically includes a lawyer, an accountant, and a financial representative in addition to other group members. The purpose of the Circle is to provide a forum to share business experiences, serve as a sounding board, provide feedback, and generally act as a mentoring/support group.

Circles are member driven and the format, location and content of the meetings are determined by the needs of the members. Each Circle has a W.E. staff member who works with the Circle members to coordinate group activities. There is no cost involved in joining a Circle beside your membership.

New!
W.E. has identified a gap in the delivery of our Mentoring Circle program which we are addressing through the creation of a Virtual Mentoring Circle. W.E. recognizes that not all of our members are able to attend the face to face monthly mentoring circle meetings due to the infeasibility of travelling long distances for an hour meeting. Our Virtual Mentoring Circles meet once a month via Skype.

For more information or if you are interested in participating in a Circle, please contact our Saskatoon office at 477-7173 or our Regina office at 359-9732 or 1-800-879-6331.
