In order for young people to make the right career decisions they need to recognize all of the career options that are available. Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan Inc. has tried to develop programs in order to reach a number of age groups. W.E.'s youth activities focus on awarenss of entrepreneurship as a viable career option.
W.E. works at offering programs to as many Saskatchewan youth as possible, but will not duplicate the existing programs and services of the Community Futures Development Corporations, which offer programming for youth in rural areas.
Women Entrepreneurs of Saskatchewan Inc. is a Community Partner of the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF). The CYBF is a national charity providing pre-launch coaching, business resources, start-up financing, and mentoring to help young entrepreneurs between the ages of 18-34 start a business. CYBF lends up to $15,000 for start-up and has teamed up with the Business Development Bank of Canada to provide up to $30,000 in additional financing. Existing CYBF entrepreneurs also have access to expansion financing of up to $10,000. Visit www.cybf.ca for more information or contact W.E., your local CYBF Community Partner.
